Job Description

Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for sports and a drive for business growth? Qantara Sports is seeking a talented Junior Business Development professional to join our team at our Riyadh office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our presence and driving revenue in the vibrant sports market of Riyadh.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Junior Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and key competitors in the Riyadh sports market. Analyze market data to develop insights that inform our business strategies and initiatives.
  2. Client Prospecting and Acquisition: Identify and reach out to potential clients, including sports organizations, sponsors, event organizers, and other stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, presentations, and negotiations.
  3. Partnership Development: Collaborate with internal teams to identify partnership opportunities that align with our business objectives. Develop proposals and pitch strategies to secure partnerships with sports clubs, associations, and other relevant entities.
  4. Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. Develop sales plans, execute sales activities, and track progress against targets to ensure consistent performance.
  5. Event Sponsorship and Promotion: Explore opportunities for event sponsorship and promotion in Riyadh’s sports landscape. Identify potential sponsorships and partnerships for sports events, tournaments, and activities to enhance our brand visibility and engagement.
  6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions, track leads, and monitor sales activities. Ensure timely follow-up and communication with clients to foster strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
  7. Networking and Industry Engagement: Attend sports events, conferences, and networking forums to represent Qantara Sports and expand our network within the Riyadh sports community. Build relationships with key stakeholders and influencers to support business development efforts.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development metrics. Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align business development efforts with overall organizational goals. Provide insights and feedback to support the development and execution of integrated strategies.
  10. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sports business development. Take part in training programs and skill development initiatives to enhance your capabilities and contribute to your professional growth.

Job Requirements:

  • Saudi National.
  • Bilingual Arabic & English.
  • Strong interest in the sports industry and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • 3 or more years of prior sales, business, or sports service experience.

Additional Information

Qualification

  • 2-5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed business development targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, sports science or a related field.
